Jessie Wilson was raised in rural Oklahoma, but has since populated many places. She’s presently homesteading in Seattle, WA. Jessie has a healthy interest in History, training in Video Production and Multimedia, and recently completed an MFA in Arts Leadership.
Her work explores the area where craft meets technology. Many projects are created in response to a social, political or spiritual issue. In recent years, she’s focused on installation, but her roots are interdisciplinary. Jessie’s interested in things like identity, transition, and audience interaction.

Hi Jessie, I’m a curator at the Exploratorium in SF, CA. Would love to see a pix of the flag you made out of the Ars Moriendi show. I’m looking for ways that people can explore the concept of a “normal” death. If you are interested, you can contact me at pamw@exploratorium.edu. Thanks, Pam
Jessie: Incredible!!!! Your work has made my day. You mom told us about the haunted ice cube tray, Cheney heads and your work in general–sent me your blog. I will have to go to it every so often to give me a dose of reality.
Keep going!!!!
Susan Gingrasso (your mom and I are colleagues and co conspirators in grant writing to change teaching practice)
Susan (partner in crime of the mother), of course I know who you are. Thanks so much for your comment and the encouragement. I hope you’re well and had a good time in Austin – Jessie.
